PCA Certification

IMPORTANT - NEW PCA REQUIREMENT EFFECTIVE JULY 1st, 2010

Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Individualized PCA Certification
Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Certification is now available and required. Minnesota statute requires all PCAs to take and pass a certification test. The online course and test is free. PCAs must register with DHS before taking the certification test at the Department of Human Services web site.

Once the PCA has passed the training, please fax a copy of the certification to our Human Resources Department at fax (763) 208-7071 or email Empowerment Healthcare and contact them to send out an application for the PCA at (763) 566-0831.
